Transportation to the island of Moorea is by a ten minute
plane trip or a twenty-five minute catamaran ferry ride. It is
a ten-minute ride from the boat landing or the Moorea airport
to this location where the Club Bali Hai Moorea's began.

The Club Bali Hai Moorea is on 21 beachfront acres ,
a short drive from arrival points on the island and two miles
from Cook's Bay.
You will know you are among friends when you
arrive at the reception desk and a cheery greeting is heard from
the friendly staff.

Accommodations are individual
bungalow style with all amenities. The Overwater Lagoon Bungalows
have king-size beds and all other units have one queen-size bed
and one twin bed. Some units even have extra beds for family
accommodations. The property boasts a complete restaurant and
bar, swimming pool with swim up bar where sandwiches and salads
are served daily from 11 am to 5 pm. We also have complimentary
nightly activities, two different Tahitian dance shows each week,
a tennis court, a rental car desk, and communications facilities. You
can even send and receive e-mail for a nominal fee-all within
a relaxed Tahitian paradise atmosphere. Credit cards accepted
at Club Bali Hai Moorea are Visa, Matercard, American Express, Diner's
Club and JCB. |

Wisps of clouds flow down from the peaks of
the volcanic mountains as the sun lights up the pineapple plantations
and the greenery around Cook's Bay. Moua Roa (we call it Mount
Bali Hai) thrusts up in the distance.
At Club Bali Hai Moorea, you are at the heart of Cook's
Bay. Swimming is good from the beach and outrigger canoes are
available for our adventurous guests. There are many
activities you can participate in on Moorea. When you arrive,
see our activities desk for more information.
The Blue Pineapple at the pool bar serves delicious
breakfast and luncheon fare. Crepes, salads, sandwiches, poisson-cru
(a Tahitian specialty made with fresh tuna and coconut milk)
and more! Shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

What's Going on at Club Bali Hai Moorea?
There's always something to do at Club Bali Hai Moorea! A quick orientation
will give you an overview of what's in store for you.
Sunday, you'll enjoy music and singing and fun at Alfredo's Restaurant.
Alfredo's features a full menu and a complete bar - and it's
only a two minute walk in paradise to get there. Plan to arrive
by 6:45 p.m. to get a table.
Monday nights, enjoy the Crab Races at the Club Bali Hai Moorea Pool Bar
on Cook's Bay. An unusual and hilarious island pastime. Wagering
is permitted. First post at 6:00 p.m. |

Tuesday, you can learn how to tie the beautiful
pareos you see everyone wearing on the island. Our dancer will
show you an astonishing number of ways to wear these handcrafted
wrap-around fabrics. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday nights you will not want to miss the Tahitian Dance
Show on the lawn at Club Bali Hai Moorea. This traditional dancing is
presented by a prize winning group from Moorea. They are truly
extraordinary. Show begins at 6:00 p.m., but plan to arrive early
for a good seat. And don't forget your camera! |

Thursday nights at the Club Bali Hai Moorea Pool Bar, ladies can
learn to make their own traditional Tahitian flower Hei. There's
no charge ... the staff will supply the flowers and the instruction
beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Friday, take a break and choose from our list of excellent restaurants
all around the island. If you haven't been to the "Little
Turtle" yet, reserve a table on the terrace for tonight.
Our reception staff will call for your free transportation.
Saturday nights, the Caprice des Isles has live music and
good dining. It's a 5 minute walk from the Club Bali Hai Moorea.

Daily events:
Breakfast with Muk and Jay, two of the original
Club Bali Hai Moorea Boys. Join Muk at 6:30 a.m. every morning for a continental
style breakfast of Moorean coffee, juices, fresh local fruits,
french bread with jam and butter . You'll enjoy Muk's tales of
the early days on Moorea. Jay joins the breakfast crowd at 8
a.m. ... you'll hear some hair-raising stories about their journey
to Tahiti and the truly amazing lives they've lived in this unique
Paradise.
Muk's Cocktail Hour. Libations begin to flow at Club Bali Hai Moorea at
5:30 p.m. nightly. Join Muk for more fun and entertaining conversation.
You will still be chuckling over his stories as you head out
to dinner at one of Moorea's wonderful restaurants. Note: the
Club Bali Hai Moorea Pool Bar closes at 7:30 p.m. nightly - everyone is
on their way to dinner by then! If you're looking for libations
after dinner, try the bar at the Caprice des Ille or Alfredo's.
