The InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora is anchored between two white sand beaches that border the shores of Point Matira, unanimously recognized as the most beautiful site in Polynesia.
The InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora spent 7.9 million euros in 2002 to remodel all of the existing bungalows and add even more, preserving their typically Polynesian character. The hotel now comprises 14 "fare" built at the edge of the beach under the shade of the graceful coconut palms, and 50 Overwater "fare" that align their pandanus roofs above the crystalline waters of the lagoon. Among the Beach and Lagoon "fare" are two Bungalow Suites connected by a living room.
Sunbathers will appreciate the large solarium terraces and the "fare" are all furnished with ultra modern equipment: air-conditioning, 2 telephone lines, 2 televisions, DVD player and individual mini-stereo system.

|
The InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora has also enlarged its restaurant and added an infinity swimming pool with a white sand bottom.
The best local artisans were called on to decorate the reception area, bar and restaurant. These included wood sculptors, weavers of bamboo and pandanus, tapa makers and mother-of-pearl carvers. All their talents were combined to proudly celebrate local traditions.
The decorations in the bungalows also pay homage to the gentle Polynesian way of life, with furniture of coconut wood, artistically woven palm fronds covering the walls, and living vines of vanilla decorating the bathrooms.
The "fare" built over the lagoon contain glass tables through which you can admire the mesmerizing ballet of the coral fish by night or day, and the fish can be fed through an opening in the floor by sliding the table to one side. Individual decks on the lower terrace allow direct access to the limpid waters of this incredible turquoise world. If Bora Bora alone seems to embody Paradise, the InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Bora is certainly one of its most beautiful symbols.

The InterContinental Le Moana Resort Bora Boras private shuttle is available for transfer to and from
Vaitape village where access to the airport is possible by a
scheduled shuttle boat service. A 45 minute flight connects Bora
Bora to Tahiti, the main island, where an international airport
connects to all main destinations around the world. |

| Our Sales Manager Chris Says ... Although an older property it has been maintained very well. This is one of my favorite resorts that are located on the main island of Bora Bora as opposed to resorts on the surounding motus. It features a beautiful and large white sand beach. The resort also has 2 pools, one of which has a sand bottom and can be accessed from the beach. |
