Opened in July 1998, Le Meridien Bora Bora is one of
the most original hotel complex on the island. Built on the southern
point of "Motu Piti Aau", a 10 km long islet on the
coral reef, the hotel offers an unsurpassed view of the world
renowned Mount Otemanu. The hotel, which has 85 overwater bungalows
embrace by the turquoise water of the lagoon and 15 beach bungalows,
is 20 mn by private launch from the airport and 5 mn by boat
from the main island.

LEISURE
With the entire ocean at one's doorstep, it is not surprising
that most of the activities offered at Le Meridien Bora Bora are sea-based.
The hotel provides facilities for scuba-diving, snorkelling,
jet-skiing, windsurfing, water-skiing, para-sailing, deep-sea
fishing as well as sailing. Courses by the hotel's experienced
sea sportsmen are also available. The hotel can also organise
sunset cruises, horse-riding, safaris and helicopter tours.

The experience of living in an overwater faré
is one not to be missed. At Le Meridien Bora Bora, each bungalow offers
a sumptuous architecture and comfort out of this world including:
a large bedroom with a living area, a bathroom and outdoor terrace
with direct access to the turquoise water of the lagoon. The
ultimate touch in the overwater bungalow is a large windowed
surface in the floor of the living room from which you are able
to admire the marine life of the lagoon! |

Located on its own, private motu (islet) with 1/4 mile
of white sand beach, this magnificent resort features 85 overwater
and 15 beachfront bungalows, each with spectacular views of mysterious
Mt. Otemanu and the gorgeous blue lagoon. The bungalows are appointed
with king-size beds, a sitting area, spacious bathrooms with
a bathtub overlooking the lagoon, coffee and tea facilities,
mini-bar, walk-in-closet, cable television, and a private terrace
with direct access to the lagoon. The Chef's specialties at both
of the resort's restaurants feature Polynesian and International
cuisine. The lagoon-side swimming pool or open-air lounge is
a wonderful place to relax and take in the sunset after enjoying
a day of exploring the lagoon with activities such as kyaking,
windsurfing, snorkeling or the famous shark feeding excursion.

Guest Room Information
Beach Bungalow - art deco-style beachfront bungalows are available with either a queen-size bed or two single beds. The bungalows provide an exceptionally warm welcome, with their burnished hardwoods, louvered windows, thatched ceilings and earth-toned fabrics. Discerning guests revel in the authentic Polynesian feel, whilst also appreciating the modern touches such as direct dial phone, safe, satellite-television, CD, DVD and MP3 reader, minibar and coffee-maker. The spacious, air-conditioned bungalows, with a dressing area, are approximately 60 square metres. The bathrooms feature all amenities plus a separate bathtub and walk-in shower. Beach bungalows benefit from a private beach, with deck-chairs and hammocks available. Whilst it is not possible to add an extra bed, beach bungalows can incorporate a convertible sofa that can accommodate a third adult or a child.
Overwater Bungalow - these air conditioned rooms are located right over the water, and the large section of glass in the floor provides endless fascination for guests. They feature a large deck, which is an ideal place to read or take in the sunset. Ladders from the deck make it easy to slip into the lagoon's warm, turquoise water. All bungalows are air-conditioned and have the same amenities as the Beach Bungalows.
Premium Bungalow - Ideal for travellers seeking romance, privacy or both, these bungalows boast the best views in the resort and have the additional advantage of being located at the end of the deck - a very quiet location. All facilities as above.
